decent stay near hackney empire
great location coffee tea station sticky door lock no cappuccino
i found the location excellent, especially as i was visiting the hackney empire. it was very convenient. the room included water bottles plus a station for coffee and tea. i also got a 20% discount on my food bill downstairs, a nice surprise.
the door lock in my room was a little sticky (it took a few tries to open). vegetarian options were okay, but somewhat overpriced. i was also a little disappointed that there was no cappuccino available, only regular coffee.

The room included water bottles and a station with tea and coffee. I received a 20% discount on my food bill in the pub. The room also had a fan as there is no air conditioning..
The cost of drinks at the bar was a bit much. I paid £18.70 for a glass of wine and a pint of bitter.

Really good Stay in Hackney Central!
spacious room modern decor drink selection overall cleanliness
The room was spacious and included a comfortable sofa. I liked the modern decor throughout the room and the hotel generally. I was happy to find a varied selection of hot beverages available in the room. Cleanliness was clearly a priority, as the room was super clean.
I noticed the staff didn't show me to my room upon check-in. This was a slight oversight.

The room featured high-quality linens on a comfortable bed, which ensured restful sleep. The bathroom had ample space, offering a very good shower with consistent hot water. Blackout curtains effectively blocked external light, important for relaxation.

The hotel provided a 20% discount on food and drinks, a really good bonus. The pub downstairs had a menu with good variety. The food was AMAZING!!! The bar staff were attentive and quick to serve, important for me.

friendly staff clean room sticky door pricey food
The staff was friendly. the room was very clean. it was also bigger than i had expected and the downstairs bar was a bonus. i learned residents get a 20% discount at the bar. I found this much appreciated.
the door lock was sticky. the food options for vegetarians were okay, but slightly pricey. i found the room a little pricey for what was on offer. there was no breakfast available and no cappuccino, only coffee.
